I had done troubleshoot and it sorted something out i dont know what though. So i intalled the lastest driver to 10.0.0.270 from 10.0.0.263.Īgain i tried out the game to see if there was an improvement with the internet connection and it again showed my ping to be 1000+ ms.

So then i checked the Atheros website and i didnt have the latest driver. Also checked on the hp website and it showed that i have the latest driver. When going through device manager to update it, it showed that it needed no update. So i decided to see if the driver needed updating. The artheros adapter showed the ping to be 1000+ ms. The game i tried out was league of legends.

This wireless adapter is extremely slow that causes high ping during game play.
